This Walk-In Workflow can be used to check in clients who do not have an appointment booked at your particular clinic for today.
Clinic-specific considerations:
- Vaccine inventory and staffing capacity may be limiting factors. The ability to accommodate drop-ins can fluctuate throughout the shift and the week.
- Each location may have their own eligibility, screening, and tracking protocols for drop-in clients; please check with clinic leads to confirm.

1. Set your User Defaults to the current clinic and date.

2. Search for the patient using their PHN or first + last name in the global search bar. Review the results of the search.

If the client does not have an ImmsBC profile: start with Step 3.

If the client has an existing ImmsBC profile: skip to Step 4.
Client is not registered with ImmsBC
3. Select the Register button. If it is not visible on the navigation bar, it may be hidden under the More button.

Client is already registered with ImmsBC.
4. Select the appropriate profile (Person Account) from the search results populated below the Global Search Bar.
5. Click Check-in Client on the right-hand side and proceed with client identification.
