How to book an appointment for a future date in ImmsBC
1. Using the global search bar, search for the client’s profile (search by PHN or by name)
2. Select the profile/Person Account.
3. Click on the Appointment Scheduling tab.
4. Select the desired vaccine antigen by checking the appropriate box(es).
5. Use the drop-down menu to review and select the desired product(s).
6. Optional: Select one or more desired Clinic features (e.g. low sensory).
7. Find a clinic by searching in one of three ways:
- By Postal Code + Search radius (km)
- By City (start typing the name of the city or select from the dropdown menu)
- By clinic name (start typing the name of the clinic)
8. Select the clinic name to find the available appointment slots. Select a date and time from the calendar.
9. Review the appointment details at the bottom of the screen. Select Next to proceed.
10. Confirm the client's preferred contact method. Select the checkbox to verify the accuracy of the information provided. Click Confirm appointment to complete the booking.
11. The screen will briefly show a confirmation message. The client will receive a copy of their appointment details and the booking confirmation code through their preferred contact method.

Q: Can the client get COVID-19 and Seasonal Flu vaccines at the same time? A: During certain times of year, clients may be eligible to receive multiple vaccines during a single visit. The availability of certain products will differ by location. |

Q: What happens if the client already has an appointment for the same agent? A: ImmsBC users will be prompted to cancel the existing booking on behalf of the client. |

Q: Can I book separate appointments for flu and COVID-19? A: Yes! As of Aug 2023, clients are able to book separate appointments. |
