Authoring Comments (Initial Entry)
Comments pertaining to the particular clinic encounter can be entered into the Comments box during Vaccine Administration. This section is intended for information that does not need to be easily viewable or may not be relevant for future visits.
(e.g. "vaccine was drawn up by <person's name at HH:MM>")
Adding Comments after a record has been submitted
Users can add details or clarify previous comments after a record has been submitted. Each comment will be added as a separate row in Comments History, which can be viewed by clicking on the record for the particular dose.
1. Navigate to the client's Person Account
2. Select the Related tab
3. Select the Immunization Record # by clicking the numerical code
4. On the right hand panel, select New Comment and complete the pop-up window.
5. Select Save
How to view all comments pertaining to the record
A preview of the most recent comment will be displayed under in the Comments section. Select View All to expand this section and to see all the rows.
General Information
- At this time, comments cannot be edited
- If a previous comment was been entered in error, the user will need to enter a new comment indicating the date and time of the comment that was entered in error.
- Information that may be relevant for future clinic staff should be entered as a separate Note.
