Background:
ImmsBC has a duplicate detection feature to flag situations that could create data entry errors, invalid doses, or multiple entries for the same date.
After starting the CIR process (Create Immunization Record), users may come across this warning message:
Potential duplicate record of <agent> exists within 3 days before of after Administered Date selected.
Users are advised to carefully check their inputted date & agent. Users may also verify their client's Relevant Immunization History before proceeding.
1. Click No to close out of the CIR form.
2. On the client's Related page, click Refresh Forecast. The page will re-load.
3. Scroll to the client's Relevant Immunization History and check if a record already exists for the desired antigen/date. If it does not show, please proceed with charting.
