The ImmsBC system will send registration codes, booking invitations, appointment confirmations, After Care notifications, and other messages through the client's preferred communication channel(s).
If a client no longer wishes to receive communications, there are two ways to proceed:
> Suspend Communications Indefinitely
No further communications will be sent via email/text
>Suspend Communications Until <date>
Temporary suspension; client will not receive notifications until the specified end-date has been reached.
After said time, notifications will resume.
Instructions:
1. Search for the client's Person Account.
2. Under the Details tab, scroll to the Contact Information section.
3. Locate the appropriate box and click the pencil icon to edit and Save.
Notes:
- This feature should be used cautiously, as it is effective immediately.
- At this time, there is no option to customize the notifications or link them to a deferral.
- If notifications are suspended during a client's immunization appointment, no After Care notification will be sent.
- "Suspend Communications Indefinitely" is commonly applicable for residents of Long Term Care, Assisted Living, and other settings in which clients do not regularly book their own appointments.
