Intended Audience & Affected Users
All ImmsBC users
Summary of Changes:
(For full details, please see the supporting documentation at the bottom of the page)
- Appointment Status will automatically become "Completed" upon Check-In
> NEW: appointments will instantly be "Completed" after the client is checked in, regardless of what happens during the visit.
Consequences of this change:
> System improvement: incomplete (stuck) records in the past will no longer hinder the booking of future appointments
> Caution for front-end staff
A. If the user accidentally clicks Check-In and realizes their mistake before submitting Identification, the appointment will still be Completed.
B. Clients are no longer searchable on the Home page after they are checked in. To locate their record, go to Today's Appointments.
> Caution for remediators
A. Records and deferrals may be missing information, despite being associated with a "Completed" appointment
B. "Completed" status does not automatically mean that the client received any vaccine products that day - Changes to Appointment Status field permissions & options
> NEW: All users (Clerks, Clinicians, Admin) can manually modify the Appointment Status if needed, but restrictions apply. The vast majority of statuses will be automatically managed by the system.> Two statuses were retired: "Deferred" and "Documentation Error"
These are the remaining options from the picklist:- Confirmed (future appointments that have not been touched)
- Cancelled
- Completed (client was checked in)
- Missed (past appointments that have not been touched)
- Ability to record consent for multiple antigens simultaneously
> NEW: Users are able to record immunization consent for up to four agents at a time through the use of checkboxes.
All of the selected agents must have the same response (i.e. either Grant or Refuse)
